Carrie Norin
In June of 2021 we launched our partnership with matte porcelain design, a collection of jewelry with a clean, modern and organic aesthetic.
We initially started by adding a small assortment of earrings to test in our online shop and in our pop-up shop at 1 Lincoln St.
After a successful launch, we decided to continue this partnership making Carrie's beautiful pieces available to you year round.
Meet the founder Carrie Norin
Carrie Norin is the artist behind matte porcelain design. Born and raised in the Northeast, she is a mother of three young boys and currently lives in Morris County, NJ. Her idea for matte porcelain was born from an appreciation for modern organic style, rooted in a philosophy of slow and sustainable fashion.
With a background in evolutionary biology, Carrie’s jewelry aesthetic is rooted in science - balancing the clean lines of modern geometry with the organic imperfection of nature. Her pieces reflect a minimalist, elegant look that complements a variety styles.

Carrie pairs limited batch, fine porcelain pieces with sterling silver, 24k gold vermeil, or 14k gold filled components. Since this women owned business is inspired by nature, it centers environmental responsibility by sourcing renewable, biodegradable, and recycled materials. matte porcelain design donates one tree in partnership with One Tree Planted for every purchase.
